This 7 knob 23 tube Allwave Imperial in what, I think, is a Windsor cabinet, wound up in North Dakota in a Farmer's Union filling station. the station manager had a brother that worked for EH Scott company and he received the radio as a retirement gift. When he died the station manager got the radio and it came to my home town. It sat in a closet for years. One day I was walking to school and stopped in the station to warm up. The radio was sitting there and I saw it had short wave bands on it; I really wanted it for that reason. I asked what they were going to do with it and they said they wanted a radio to play in the station but the Scott was so big they didn't know where to put it. I offered to trade and they accepted. When my Dad and I got it home I started to realize it was something special and started researching it; I found National Geographic magazine ads for EH Scott and have many of them in a scrap book.
